We recently posted about Breathe Carolina covering Jay Sean's Down for Punk Goes Pop and now Woe, Is Me has released their cover of Hot And Cold by Katy Perry. I won't go into my views of Katy, or her whipped cream bra cannons, in this post but I will say this is one of a few songs of hers that I really enjoy. The song is extremely relatable and it's great to hers Woe, Is Me's take on the song because it turns the whole dynamic of the song around. Now instead of a guy who is fickle about everything and afraid to commit, we have a song about a girl who pretty much is eternally PMSing. As the release for Punk Goes Pop three gets shorter the tracks that are released just keep getting better.
3OH!3 has released fall tour dates for the Streets of Gold tour to support their newest album. The pop/alternative duo will be on tour with HelloGoodbye and Down With Webster. There will also be special guests on select dates. Sadly Ke$ha will not be joining the boys…or will she? Any questions about tickets, dates, or if you just want more info about 3OH!3 visit www.30h3music.com

We posted before the track-listing for the upcoming third volume of Punk Goes Pop album coming out soon. Breathe Carolina's cover of Down by Jay Sean is one of the first songs to be released and if this song reflects the rest of the album we can't wait for the release. Punk Goes Pop is one of my favorite creations to come out of Fearless Records because it gives fans new content and introduces people who only listen to top 40 hits to new artists.
He hates catchy choruses and is a hypocrite. He has over 66 million YouTube views and they all take place at his home. He's releasing his second album and is only 20. He's Bo yo, and he's the greatest rapper ever. Bo Burnham has been offending people them making them laugh hysterically since 1990, making multiple literary, historical, and pop culture references along the way. He released his first full length album almost two years ago that was stuffed to the brim with offensive jokes and this fall Bo plans to shock the world again with a new album. Words Words Words is released October 19th and has already released the title tracks music video, shown below. Another interesting thing about this album is the photo pictured above. The album cover is a transcript of the entire album, the words are bigger if they're said more often on the album. So technically, the lyrics for the entire album are all there, you just need to put them together. Bo will also be going on a small tour this fall, sadly no where near the tri-state area. If you are in the area though you should go see Bo fo' sho.
If you're as excited for the Glee season 2 opener as I am, then this will only make you more anxious for next Tuesday. The full cast cover of Empire State of Mind from what I hear will be on the opening episode of the season. Tons of buzz is building about the episode two weeks of tonight, which centers around and guest stars Britney Spears. If you're a part of the phenomenon that is Glee, the wait is almost over.
Versaemerge will be going on their fitst headlining tour starting in late October. The final show will be in Maryland so you know we'll be there.
